Training and Education

The training program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in certain fields according to their needs. Although the routine training that will be conducted by ICS is the technique of writing scientific papers such as theses and theses, it is also open to other materials and themes. Trainers will be recruited from within the ICS and will also be recruited from external sources if needed. This training will be conducted every month and will cooperate with various parties including the government and the private sector.

Education is a form of ICS concern and dedication to the development of the world of education in Indonesia and NTB in particular socially and participate and contribute to it both practically and theoretically in the scope of formal and informal education. ICS established non-formal and informal schools as a form of civic education including pesantren and home schooling for students in peripheral areas who do not have access to formal education. Home schooling is very important and is an alternative institution for solutions to the inequality of access to regional education.

ICS Mengajar is also one of the teaching programs of a team of volunteers specially designed by ICS to help teach in peripheral communities that do not have access to good and modern education. In Indonesia in general and NTB in particular, many children drop out of school and live far from urban areas. The phenomenon of dropping out of school is also caused by economic limitations and pressures that make parents send their children abroad to work as laborers, better known as TKI and TKW. To address this, ICS will send volunteers directly to families who do not have access to education. The ICS teaching program is expected to be able to answer the needs of residents in NTB who still lack teachers.
